Citrus TEA Party, Jason Sager, a Ray of Sunshine in the Republican Party
The Citrus County TEA Party, Saturday January 16, started out overcast and somewhat windy.
The initial speaker Edna Mattos, the Citrus County Citizens Event Coordinator, talked about the many aspects of our current political situation. She was followed by other speakers who reinforced our fears and concerns about the issues currently being debated in Washington.
After some time, our own Jason Sager, candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives for Florida’s 5th district, spoke with enthusiasm. He explained that he was a Jeffersonian republican, not a Republican as assigned by the current Republican Party. This is a concept the party might want to embrace.
He committed himself to following through with his beliefs, when he goes to Washington with 
by his side.
He could have endorsed the enormous 2,700 page annotated Constitution that is currently used by Congress as reference to make law. He didn’t. He threw it aside and embraced the U.S. Constitution that our founding fathers gave us as the rule of law.
Jason Sager was truly the RAY OF SUNSHINE we needed on that overcast windy day.
The Sager for Congress campaign would like to thank the Citrus County TEA Party and all their patriots for their courteous, warm welcome; and the great opportunity for Jason to let the people of District 5 know that he believes in them and would like to serve them. We would also like to thank the many patriots that attended the TEA Party and embraced Jason, his principles, and commitment to serving the people.
